37-year-old African-American Alton Sterling of Baton Rouge, L.A, was selling bootleg CDs in front of a convenience store just moments before two officers pinned him down to the ground and ultimately ended his life. The father of four was shot six times.
A video of the officers struggling with Sterling and eventually killing him surfaced the Internet and sparked outrage.

The officers have not been identified but are being investigated. It is still unclear if they are on administrative live with or without pay.
The two policeman were responding to an anonymous 9-1-1 call that a man (Sterling) had a gun. Although an eyewitness didn’t see Sterling pointing a gun at anyone, cops later found a gun in his pocket after his death.
