Reported on PIX11, Principal Matthew Tossman of Manhattan Early College School for Advertising was allegedly beaten up by a student after he had asked him to turn off their music.

According to the NY Daily News, on Monday Tossman was walking down the hall when he noticed 18-year-old Luis Penzo jamming to music loudly so he had asked him to turn it down and take off the ear plugs. Penzo then put the headphones on the floor and when Tossman went to pick it up, the teen allegedly started punching him.

Penzo was arrested and faces assault charges and Principal Tossman is recovering.
