Creator of popular hip hop blog World Star, 43-year-old Lee “Q” O’Denat was found dead in his home on Monday. Although an autopsy will determine the cause of death, TMZ reports that a source says that he passed due to a heart attack.

Q started his website back in 2005 as a mixtape platform for upcoming artist. World Star quickly grew buzz because of it’s raw and real content of viral videos and popular music. Although he was criticized at times for the site’s vulgarity, during an interview with NY Times he said,

“People may be offended by some of the content, but, hey, the Internet is not a censorship boat. We’re the Carnival cruise, man. You don’t have to log on.”

The site’s name stems from Q’s nick name, world star. Before he started his works online, he was the guy who was at all of the clubs and events and when he’d walk in his friends would scream “world star.” He was like a local celebrity.

Q will always be remembered and his legacy will continue to live on. #RIP
