This is something we don’t hear or see enough but when we do, it deserves huge recognition. This week five African-American high school teen angers were all accepted into three or more Ivy League schools.
New Jersey teen 17-year-old Ifeoma White-Thorpe was accepted into the elite eight which include Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, and the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she also got accepted into Stanford University.
Originally she had her heart set on Harvard but when the other schools sent her acceptance letters, she now has to make a huge decision! She plans on going with the school that has the best finical aid available.
The impressive teenager wants to major in global healthy policy.
Meanwhile in Ohio, four quadruple brothers all got accepted into top Ivy Leagues, which include Yale, Harvard, and a few others. “The fantastic four” also known as the Wade’s brothers have a record of performing phenomenally throughout their high school journey.
Aaron, Zachary, Nigel and Nick have been receiving a lot of national media attention because of this major academic achievement! The fellas most likely all won’t be going to the same school.
The young men accredit their parents for being able to reach this milestone.
“We’re grateful to our parents and the Lakota school district because it’s really something we couldn’t have done on our own without all the support we have had through our lives. It has been awesome,” said Nick, who along with Nigel and Zachary are leaning toward attending Yale.” (SOURCE)
