One of the most feared men in the music industry, Suge Knight has been awaiting trial for nearly two years in a Los Angeles jail.
Last year the co-founder of Death Row Records ran over two men in Compton and one had died from the incident. He pled not guilty to the murder and attempted murder charges.
The gangster rap leader of the West Coast claims he was trying to escape an army of attackers when the incident happened. If convicted, Knight could face up to life in prison.
A judge today has set his trial for January 2018 and the 51-year-old will know the fate of his destiny. He says, “I want to get back to my family,” Knight said during the hearing in Los Angeles after complaining about his lack of access to legal experts to help his defense.”
