#PowerMoveMonday: The 2019 Oscars Wasn’t ‘All White’ + Made HISTORY! [PHOTO]

This year’s host-less Award ceremony was the most diverse its ever been! Two of the four acting winners were African-American, Regina King won her first award (“If Beale Street Could Talk”) and Mahershala Ali won his second award, (“Green Book”).

The first African-American woman won best costume and production design, Ruth E. Carter and Hannah Beachler of “Black Panther.”

Spike Lee took home his first Oscar for, best adapted screenplay (“BlacKkKlansman”).
