The fight for justice for Rayshard Brooks continues!

News sources report a judge ruled that the officer, Garrett Rolfe who fatally shot Rayshard Brooks can be free on bond while his case is pending. Rolfe’s bond is set at $500,000 and it’s not clear if he has made the payment and is free as of now.

The decision was made via a virtual conference. Rolfe’s lawyers said their client has “strong ties to the community” and isn’t flight risk. Rolfe’s bail conditions include wearing an ankle monitor, abiding by a curfew and he must surrender his passport, can’t possess any firearms, or have any contact with victims/witnesses or police officers.

Brooks’ wife, Tomika Miller, didn’t want Rolfe granted bond because she mentally “can’t handle it.”

Attorneys Justin D. Miller & L. Chris Stewart for the Brooks family joined Ebro In The Morning (prior to the bond ruling) to discuss what happened the night Brooks was murdered and next steps:
