It’s not clear when the song will drop. A Boogie teased another unreleased track last month so it’s possible he’s gearing up to drop a tape for us by the end of summer or the beginning of fall. His latest album is Artist 2.0, his third studio album released on February 14 by Highbridge and Atlantic Records. There is also a deluxe version with additional songs.
Ashanti’s last album was released in 2014, her fifth studio album Braveheart, which was her first release on her own label, Written Entertainment, launched in 20111. Over the years, Ashanti has appeared on singles with DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and more. Last year during an interview with The Grammy’s, Ashanti said she;s excited to drop more music.
“I think just for me, I’m at a point where I want to try different things. I love Afrobeats, I love reggae music, I love soca music. And as an artist, you want to fulfill your creative energy, you know? But I’m definitely getting back to my R&B roots. [Laughs.]”
